What We Do
We create opportunities for the advancement and general welfare of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Warren and Franklin County Missouri communities. Projects that have been funded by The Friends Foundation while helping to improve their lives include:
Purchased accessible vans
Funded therapeutic riding and purchased helmets at Exceptional Equestrians
Purchased essential household items, including lift recliners, sleeper sofa, commercial washers, dishes, bath towels, sheets, televisions, and kitchen small appliances.
Customized furniture and modification requests
IPads for virtual medical and family visits as well as for vocational training
